Juniors and Seniors....it is time to sign up for PROM TABLES in room 201. Each table can seat up to 8 students, so bring in a list of all those sitting at your table. Also if you are planning to attend Prom, you must sign up for a table by Thursday, April 17th.

Reminder to all Juniors and Seniors attending the Mock Crash tomorrow, April 10th at the Mercer County Fairgrounds.....remember to wear a WARM COAT!!!

This year's After-Prom will be at Breakaway. Get your presale tickets April 22nd, 23rd, or 24th in the lobby during lunchtime.

It is time to sign up in the front office for our Blood Drive which takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd....be a hero and give blood!!

ATTENTION SENIORS...Your Senior Superlative ballot sheets are DUE this FRIDAY, APRIL 11th. Nominations fro the Class of 2014 'Colors, Flower, Song, and Motto' are also DUE FRIDAY, April 11th. Please be sure to turn in your votes before the deadline to Kassie in the main office or Mr. Andrew in room 109. Ballots returned after the deadline will not be counted.

If you are an FTA student assigned to work with a teacher you MUST sign-in to Mr. Ellinger's room 301 BEFORE you go to your assignment OR you will be counted absent!!!

The lunch menu for THURSDAY is 'wing bar' or a chicken patty sandwich.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

 

There will be a meeting for any boy interested in playing soccer next fall after school TODAY, April 9th in room 309.  If you cannot attend the meeting, stop and see Coach Jenkins on Thursday or Friday of this week.

There will be a Future Teacher's meeting for all current members and those interested on Wednesday during I/E period in the Lecture Hall. Ask Mr. Ellinger if you have questions. (All of this year's FTA Teacher Assistants must be in attendance).

PROGRESS BOOK USERNAME AND PASSWORDS HAVE CHANGED!!!!

We will be sending home letters this week explaining how to register for a new username and password. Please share this information with your parents.  Also TODAY during lunch, students will receive their new USERNAME and PASSWORD!!

 

If you are interested in being part of Students Against Destructive Decisions (aka SADD), please sign up in Mrs. Wenning's Room (211) on the table next to her door.  You need to sign-up before August 30th .  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Wenning before or after school.

 

Do you enjoy reading, writing, and/or art?  Then ReQuest is just the club for you.  Students of all grade levels are welcome to help us select writings, choose artwork , produce and sell the 2013-14 Literary Magazine.  See Mrs. Lefeld or Miss Brunswick for more details.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

ATTENTION: There will be a meeting for all boys who want to play basketball and not involved in a fall sport on the EAST STAGE on Wednesday, August 28th (right after school) . We will discuss our fall schedule!!

 

ATTENTION all girls playing softball this spring, there will be a meeting in the Lecture hall at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, August 28th.

 

Celina girls golf team shot a 179 coming in 1st place against Defiance and Shawnee last night. Kelly Stahl shot a 45 and Johna Walls shot a 46. While Kailee Ross and Haley McGillvary, Celina's Medalists, sealed the victory with 44's!! The LADIES are 3-0 on the season!! We are back in action tonight at The Fox's Den!!

 

Boys soccer results at Miller City....Varsity tied 1-1 with that goal scored by Ryan Hoyng assisted by Isaac Elston. JV Won 4-1....Way to go BOYS!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the faculty for winning the Student-Faculty game last night.  Despite a student surge late in the game, the faculty emerged as the winner, 69-57.

ATTENTION FRESHMAN FOOTBALL PLAYERS:  Your banquet is TOMORROW, November 3rd at 11:00 in CAPT building.  If you have items that need to be returned, please bring them on Saturday.  All are expected to be there.  If you cannot attend, talk to one of your coaches. 

ATTENTION ALL VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS:  Freshly laundered uniforms are due back to Coach Sutter in Room 123 NO LATER THAN TOMORROW!! 

The Bulldog mascot tryouts will be on Tuesday, November 6th at the East Elementary Gym at 4:00 pm.  The tryouts will be anonymous.  Remember you can earn a Varsity  letter by being the Bulldog mascot, so come and try out!!

GUIDANCE

Ohio University will have a representative here during Advisory period Monday.  Juniors and Seniors may sign up in the Guidance office if they wish to attend the presentation.  You must sign up no later than the end of 2nd period Monday morning or you will NOT be able to attend.

       **The Celina High School German Club is open to all students taking German this TRI-MESTER and who are taking German next TRI-MESTER.  Please come down for the club picture for the yearbook if you wish to be considered a member of the German Club!!!  Club picture day is TOMORROW!    

     **Reminder to Book Club Members and Media Center Workers, please dress nicely for your club picture TOMORROW.  Also, Book Club Members bring a book along for the picture!

     **FYI:  a new shipment of books has just arrived in the Media Center.  Stop down for something to read.
