Tickets for this year's spring musical, Shrek, are on sale NOW!! Performances are April 3rd - April 6th and April 10th - April 13th. Stop by the office to pick up a ticket form to reserve your seats today!!

Talent Show Auditions will take place on TODAY, March 24th and March 25th from 2:30 - 4:00 in the Lecture Hall; they will also continue on March 26th during Advisory in the Lecture Hall.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

 

 Wrestling Open Mats will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 in the CAPT building.

There will be girls open gym basketball TODAY and WEDNESDAY at 2:45 at the fieldhouse for any girls wanting to play next year and not involved in a spring sport.

Varsity Boy's Tennis practice will be at the Rec Plex on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week from 2:45 - 5:00 p.m.  JV Boy's Tennis practice will be at CIS at 3:35 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday as well.

March 30th is the LAST DAY to turn in Post Secondary Option participation papers to the Guidance Office.  This is a state deadline, and the papers require the signature of student and parents.

Due to an overwhelming demand, your friendly local FTA, has added more "Twisters" and creme-filled "Long-Johns" for this Friday's FTA Donut Day!!!

 
On Thursday, November 7th, second period, Celina High School will be participating in the Americanism and Government contest sponsored by the Celina American Legion.  Prizes will be awarded to the top winners.  The contest is open to any Sophomore through Senior whether you are in a Social Studies class or not.  Sign-up in any of the Social Studies rooms on the third floor by November 6th.  BE THERE OR BE SQUARE!! 

Spirit Squad is co-hosting a spaghetti dinner this Friday at the Mercer County Fairgrounds.  Stop by and support your classmates before the game from 4:30 - 7:30.  See you there!!

GUIDANCE

ATTENTIONS SENIORS:  The date is October 30th.  November 1st is TWO DAYS AWAY!!  This day will be celebrated as "DAY OF THE DEAD-LINE", as in:  Ohio State and several other prime time universities have an Early Action deadline of NOVEMBER 1st.  MANY of you have started but not finished your Common Applications.  TAKE CARE OF THIS!!  DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!  IF YOU ARE INTENDING TO APPLY BUT HAVE NOT YET STARTED, YOU NEED TO GET MOVING.  Counselors and Teachers will not be able to get recommendations finished any later than 9:00 a.m. Friday morning.  If you are having issues with this, see your counselor sometime TODAY!

Don't forget, this Friday is our last home football game!!  If you need a ticket, please sign up in the office under the phone and winners will be drawn on Wednesday right after school.  There are ten tickets to win and it is open to all Celina High School Students!

 

Presale tickets for Volleyball will be available in the Athletic Office TODAY and  TOMORROW from 7:00 am - 2:30 pm. Presale tickets are $6.00 and tickets sold at the door will be $8.00.

SENIORS: Remember that the early action deadline for Ohio State is November 1st. In case you don't have access to a calendar, this is next Friday. Remember that applications for main campus must be submitted online using the Common Application. DO NOT wait until the last minute to submit your application and ask for a teacher reference. If you wait until next Friday, your references will not get turned in on time. MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO SUBMIT THESE APPLICATIONS THIS WEEK! Check in the Guidance Office if you have questions.
