JUNIORS AND SENIORS.....SIGN UP IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE to attend the 5th session, sponsored by Celina Mercer County Chamber & Rotary Club, which will take place on TUESDAY, JANUARY 7TH during I.E./Advisory. This session will be given by our Superintendent, Mr. Steiner and it will focus on "Appearance Really Does Matter." The more sessions you attend, the greater chance of winning a FLAT SCREEN TV!!

The ANILEC is asking for all Seniors to begin turning in their baby pictures and senior pictures for use in this year's upcoming yearbook. Bring your baby pictures and senior pictures (with your name on it) to the office OR preferably upload the image(s) to hjeshare.com, code: celina. Also, 2012-2013 ANILECs are still available to those who would like to purchase one. Don't forget to order your 2013-14 ANILEC too!! PRICE GOES UP 1/1/14.

Pre-sale tickets for BOYS BASKETBALL will be sold every Thursday and Friday in the High School Athletic Office from 10:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Student pre-sale tickets are $4.00. Adult pre-sale tickets are $6.00. All general admission tickets will be $6.00 at the door.

ASSET ALLOCATION BOYS BASKETBALL CLASSIC will be at "The Palace" in Coldwater on Friday, December 27th and Saturday, December 28th. Tickets will be sold at the door for $6.00!!

Teacher Assistants must check in with Mr. Ellinger, room 301, BEFORE reporting to their assigned teacher at Celina Primary OR Celina Middle School (otherwise, they will be reported as "ABSENT"). Also note...on TUESDAYS there will be a brief FTA Business Meeting in room 301 during I/E for ALL members of FTA, INCLUDING F.T.A. Teacher Assistants.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all those going on the Stratford Trip on Friday in room 214 during I/E period.  See Mr. Smith for details.

Remember to turn in your ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY as soon as possible!!
Look in the front of your student handbook and if your AUP is still in it, sign and date both sides (with your parent/guardian), then take it to Mrs. Baltzell.

Reminder to all art students interested in signing up for the 2014 New York Trip....permission slips and the initial deposit is due next week to either Ms. Sutter or Miss Brunswick in the Art room.

Anyone interested in earning some community service hours, help is needed at four of the last home volleyball games.  If interested see Ms. Sutter in the art room ASAP!!!

ATTENTION JUNIORS: The PSAT test is being offered on October 16th to any junior who wishes to take it. This test is the qualifying test to enter National Merit Scholarship competitions. Spirit Squad also now has 5 all sports passes available for rental.  These all sports passes will get you entry to any Fall sport game except for Varsity Football for free.  There are plenty of games to attend this evening!  If you would like to rent out one of these passes for any game during the fall sports season, they will be given out on a first come, first served basis.  Please see Mrs. Ball for details or to borrow a card for tonight's games!! 

Today is the last day for anyone interested in joining the ANILEC (yearbook staff).  Sign up in Mrs. Langmeyer's room 104.  The ANILEC will meet on Wednesdays and all members will go directly to the Media Center at the beginning of I/E period.

We will be having an assembly this Friday, September 13th and there will be an adjusted schedule.  The assembly will take place from 9:33 - 10:33 a.m.  Junior Tri-Star students may attend but will need to be released early and only if you have your own transportation.  Also Juniors need to sign in at the office if attending.  Senior Tri-Star students will be released after the assembly and will miss your 3rd period class since it's later in the day.  Senior Tri-Star students should see their 3rd period teachers early for assignments.

The Book Club will meet Tuesday, September 17th during I/E period in the Media Center.   Please stop in NOW and talk to Mrs. Baltzell if you plan to join.  The club meets every Tuesday and students are required to read one book a month;  then they meet and discuss it during I/E.

Mrs. Baltzell has another NOOK available for checkout.  See her if you are interested!!
