STUDENT INFORMATION

     **The junior class needs concession stand workers for the boy's basketball game on Friday, December 14th.  Sign up today in room 201 (Mr. Higgin's room).  Popcorn workers need to report to the Fieldhouse at 4:30 and all other workers need to be there at 5:30. 

     **There are several Nooks in the Media Center ready for check out.  There are 83 young adult books loaded on them to read.  Electronic Nooks are easy to use, so why not check one out for Christmas?

   

     **Reminder:  There will be a spirit squad meeting in room 212 TODAY right after school.  

     **Don't forget about "study tables" which is offered every day after school from 2:30 - 3:00 and Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.  If you need some additional help, we are here for you, SO take advantage of it!!!

     **The Book Club will meet this Thursday.  It will be a Christmas cookies and milk party in honor of the holidays.  SO....eat your lunch, and come during advisory for dessert.  Bring your book, Girl of Fire and Thorns, back with you and be prepared to discuss it.  Your next book to read will be ready to pick up.

     **Don't forget there is a meeting during advisory today for all Student Council members.

     **Just a special reminder to all students who ordered a class ring.....Rod Williams will be here during lunch on Thursday, December 13th to distribute the rings.

     **The 2013 C.H.S. Spring Musical auditions for Grease are January 3rd from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Ed. Complex.  Please have a short Broadway - STYLE song selection prepared.  An accompanist will be available.  No acappella auditions, please.  All Celina High School students are welcome to audition.

     **Reminder:  Winter Homecoming meeting will be in the Lecture Hall tomorrow during advisory.  Passes will be in your mailbox in MP's room.

     **Chess Club members wear your shirts Friday for club picture.

    

     **The lunch menu for Wednesday is chicken strips, broccoli with cheese, dinner roll, fruit and milk OR popcorn chicken.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

There will be an INDOOR TRACK meeting, for those willing to participate this winter, on Wednesday December 12th at 2:30 pm in the CAPT building classroom.  Please bring a pen or a pencil with you.  ALSO, WINTER SPORT PEOPLE....check with your winter sport coach for permission and then find Coach Otten.

GUIDANCE

**  ATTENTION Sophomores going on Tri Star visits Wednesday

A list of your Tri Star visitation choice and your bus meeting place is posted in the hallway outside the Guidance door and also on the front office lobby window.  Be sure to check this out before Wednesday so you will know where to report.

ATTENTION FOOTBALL PLAYERS:  Off season lifting/training begins TODAY in the CAPT building.  Be dressed and ready in the locker room by 2:35.  If you are not in a winter sport, you are expected to be there.  See Coach Rolfes, if you have any questions.

STUDENT INFORMATION

     **REMINDER that "study tables" are now in session, every day after school from 2:30 - 3:00 and from 7:00 - 8:00 on Thursday evenings.  If you need some extra HELP, we are here for you!!

     **Book Club Members - Stop and pick up your next book in the Media Center.  You can choose from Pride & Prejudice and Zombies or Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter. 
  

     **Young Democrats please see Mr. Sell at your earliest convenience.

        **Mrs. Baltzel has a personal copy of Kyle Maynard's book "No Excuses" in the Media Center if you'd like to read it.  Also, come down to check out and try a NOOK.  It is an electronic reader loaded with many books.

       

 **Friday lunch menu is Mexican Bar, nachos supreme, burrito, taco, fruit, and milk OR a cheeseburger sandwich.

 

GUIDANCE

Ohio State Beauty Academy (Lima) will have a representative here during Advisory Period tomorrow.  Juniors and Seniors may sign up in the Guidance Office if they wish to attend the presentation.  You must sign up no later than the end of 2nd period Friday morning or you will NOT be able to  attend.
