STUDENT INFORMATION

     **The junior class need concession stand workers for the boy's basketball game on Friday, December 14th.  Sign up today in room 201 (Mr. Higgin's room).  Popcorn workers need to report to the Fieldhouse at 4:30 and all other workers need to be there at 5:30. 

     **There are several Nooks in the Media Center ready for check out.  There are 83 young adult books loaded on them to read.  Electronic Nooks are easy to use, so why not check one out for Christmas?

   

     **Reminder:  There will be a spirit squad meeting in room 212 TODAY right after school.  

    

          **The lunch menu for Tuesday is pasta bar, bread stick, carrots, applesauce, and milk OR a tenderloin sandwich.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

ATTENTION FOOTBALL PLAYERS:  Off season lifting/training begins TODAY in the CAPT building.  Be dressed and ready in the locker room by 2:35.  If you are not in a winter sport, you are expected to be there.  See Coach Rolfes, if you have any questions.

There will be an INDOOR TRACK meeting, for those willing to participate this winter, on Wednesday December 12th at 2:30 pm in the CAPT building classroom.  Please bring a pen or a pencil with you.  ALSO, WINTER SPORT PEOPLE....check with your winter sport coach for permission and then find Coach Otten.

GUIDANCE

**  A list of Tri Star visitation choice and your bus meeting place is posted in the hallway outside guidance door and also on the front office lobby window.  Be sure to check this out before Wednesday so you will know where to report.

     **There will be a spirit squad meeting in room 212 Monday right after school.

     **The toy drive for Dayton Childrens has only A FEW DAYS LEFT to donate!!  We are so very close to our goal of 500 toys, but not quite there yet.  If you can help us brighten the holidays for some very special children, please drop off your new, unwrapped gifts to room 212 or in the office.  No donation is too small and cash donations are accepted, too!

     **A SPECIAL REMINDER TO ALL HONOR ROLL STUDENTS FROM FIRST TRIMESTER:  If you haven't received your "sweet treat" from CHAMP, come to the office TODAY during lunch.  You deserve this, so don't miss out on this special award that is JUST FOR YOU!!

          **The lunch menu for Monday is chicken quesadilla with salsa, tossed salad, fruit and milk OR a sloppy jo sandwich.

     **Tomorrow dimes are positive and all forms of bills are negative (ones, fives, tens, twenties).

     **The 2013 C.H.S. Spring Musical auditions for Grease are January 3rd from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Ed. Complex.  Please have a short Broadway - STYLE song selection prepared.  An accompanist will be available.  No acappella auditions, please.  All Celina High School students are welcome to audition!    

          **The lunch menu for Friday is nachos supreme, burrito, taco, fruit and milk OR a cheeseburger sandwich.

     **Due to an overabundance of blood donors this year, The American Red Cross is postponing our blood drive to Friday, January 18th.  However we still need volunteers, so please sign up, help save lives and GIVE BLOOD.

        **There are two new Christmas showcases to see down by the Media Center.  Come and see some beanie babies and old toys.

     **The "Book Club" book, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, is missing from the Media Center.  Please return it to Mrs. Baltzell. 

     **Dimes and Pennies are NEGATIVE today in DIME WARS!!

     **The 2013 C.H.S. Spring Musical auditions for Grease are January 3rd from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Ed. There will be NO presale tickets for the Lima Senior game on Saturday, December 8th.  Tickets at the door will be $4 for students and $6 for adults.

GUIDANCE

Attention Sophomores:  If you missed the Tri Star meeting last Friday and would like to sign up to visit the Tri Star program of your choice, please come to the Guidance Office.

Visits will be on Wednesday, December 12th.  You must sign up no later than Wednesday, December 5th if you wish to attend.
