There will be a mandatory meeting for all those going on the Stratford Trip TODAY in room 214 during I/E period. See Mr. Smith for details.

Registration forms for the High School Bowling Team are due no later than Monday, September 30th. You may get your registration form in the office. Practice begins October 8th.

WON in 4 sets last night against St. Marys....
25-23, 20-25, 25-22, 25-16
JV won their match in 3 sets.

CELINA GIRLS GOLF finished their regular season strong last night taking home 2nd place at the Wayne Trace Invitational.  Kailee Ross, Kelly Stahl & Johna Walls placed 5th, 7th & 10th as individualist.  The girls are back in action on Wednesday as they travel to sectionals!  WAY TO GO!!
 

GUIDANCE

If you are planning to take a non-Celina student to the Celina Homecoming, you must fill out a "Homecoming Visitor Form" which is located in the front office.

HENCEFORTH, ALL F.T.A. Teacher Assistants must check in with Mr. Ellinger, room 301, BEFORE reporting to their assigned teacher at Celina Primary OR Celina Middle School (otherwise, they will be reported as "ABSENT"). Also note...on TUESDAYS there will be a brief FTA Business Meeting in room 301 during I/E for ALL members of FTA, INCLUDING F.T.A. Teacher Assistants.

Your upcoming fall makeup/retake picture day is Wednesday, October 16th.  Packets will be available in the office next week.

ATTENTION ALL GIRL AND BOY BASKETBALL PLAYERS....

There will be a shoe fitting in the girls locker room TOMORROW, September 26th during lunchtime. Make sure you get there even if you have Post Secondary. If you cannot be there, please notify your coach.

Remember to turn in your ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY as soon as possible!!
Look in the front of your student handbook and if your AUP is still in it, sign and date both sides (with your parent/guardian), then take it to Mrs. Baltzell.

Seniors are voting for Homecoming candidates for 2013-14 Homecoming Court first period this morning.  If you are NOT here first period, please see Kassie in the front office to receive your ballot AND vote TODAY!!

GUIDANCE

 Indiana Tech will have a representative in the cafeteria hallway during lunch today.

TOMORROW is the last day to sign up for the PSAT.  To register bring a check for $14.00 to the guidance office.  The check needs to be made out to Celina High School.
Saturday the ACT will be given here at Celina High School.  Be sure to bring your calculator, several #2 pencils, your admission ticket and a photo I.D.  You WILL NOT BE ADMITTED WITHOUT YOUR ADMISSION TICKET AND A PHOTO I.D.  The test will start promptly at 8:00 a.m., so be here early to find your room and get checked in.

ATTENTION JUNIORS: If you are NOT in an English class this trimester, please stop by the Guidance office to receive information on the PSAT and college preparation.

ATTENTION JUNIORS: The PSAT test is being offered on October 16th to any junior who wishes to take it. This test is the qualifying test to enter National Merit Scholarship competitions. Interested students can register with Mrs. Booher in the Guidance Office during the week of September 16th - September 20th. You must bring a check for $14.00 made out to Celina High School.

Otterbein University will have a representative here during I/E today. If you wish to attend and you have not signed up, please sign up in the Guidance Office by the end of second period today.

Bluffton University will have a representative in the cafeteria hallway during lunch tomorrow.

There will be an FTA meeting TODAY in the Media Center during I/E period.

There will be a SADD meeting TODAY after school in Mrs. Wenning's room 211. If you cannot make it, see Mrs. Wenning. 

ANY SENIOR participating in senior night this Friday, WHO INDICATED THEY NEEDED TICKETS, please pick those up from Mr. Boley during lunch TODAY or TOMORROW!!

We will be having an assembly this Friday, September 13th and there will be an adjusted schedule. The assembly will take place from 9:33 - 10:33 a.m. Junior Tri-Star students may attend but will need to be released early and only if you have your own transportation. Also Juniors need to sign in at the office if attending. Senior Tri-Star students will be released after the assembly and will miss your 3rd period class since it's later in the day. Senior Tri-Star students should see their 3rd period teachers early for assignments.

     **It's time to get registered for your High School Bowling Team.  Bowling is a good time you can have with your friends and there is no cost to you.  Best of all you could earn Scholarships for College.  Local students in Mercer County have received up to $5000 per year in Scholarships through bowling.  Registration is Open to Boys and Girls.  Meet at Plaza Lanes today anytime after school.  Ask for Gary or Mary to get signed up.  Practices will start October 30th.

     **There will be a spirit squad meeting in room 212 Wednesday (tomorrow) after school to plan the 5th quarter party.

     **Anyone who ordered Toms shoes:  the "Style your Sole" party will be TODAY at 6 pm.  Please meet in the art room.  Decorating supplies will be available to you, but if you have something specific in mind, please bring it with you.  If you are unsure if you ordered shoes, please stop by Miss Sneddon's room.  There will be pizza and snacks also.  See you then!

     **Picture retakes will be tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 17th in the Lecture Hall during 4th period/lunch.  The forms are in the office.

Girls and Boys basketball players -- McSports will be here TODAY during Advisory period in the gym for a shoe fitting for the upcoming season.  Please report to the gym during this time -- passes will be given upon returning to class.  If you cannot make it, you can go to McSports to be fitted.
