STUDENT INFORMATION

AAA certified technicians will inspect cars free of charge in the student parking lot TOMORROW. After the inspection is complete, all participants receive a FREE LUNCH, compliments of AAA.
THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE....SO SIGN UP TODAY!!!!

If you are planning on taking a non-Celina student to the Homecoming dance on Saturday, Oct. 5th, you must fill out a visitor form. They are located in the office.

Your fall makeup/retake picture day is Wednesday, October 16th.  Picture packets will be available in the office the beginning of October.
 
There will be an FTA meeting TOMORROW in the Lecture Hall during I/E period.
 
There will be a SADD meeting TOMORROW after school in Mrs. Wenning's room 211. If you cannot make it, see Mrs. Wenning.

Spirit Squad has 10 free tickets to give away for Friday's home football game.  If you would like to win one of these tickets, there are small forms to fill out in the front office.  These forms must be filled out and turned into the container in the front office by 2:20 pm on Wednesday.  Winners will be notified on Thursday.

Spirit Squad also now has 5 all sports passes available for rental.  These all sports passes will get you entry to any Fall sport game except for Varsity Football for free.  There are plenty of games to attend this evening!  If you would like to rent out one of these passes for any game during the fall sports season, they will be given out on a first come, first served basis.  Please see Mrs. Ball for details or to borrow a card for tonight's games!! 

Today is the last day for anyone interested in joining the ANILEC (yearbook staff).  Sign up in Mrs. Langmeyer's room 104.  The ANILEC will meet on Wednesdays and all members will go directly to the Media Center at the beginning of I/E period.

ANY SENIOR participating in senior night this Friday, WHO INDICATED THEY NEEDED TICKETS, please pick those up from Mr. Boley during lunch on Thursday or Friday!!

We will be having an assembly this Friday, September 13th and there will be an adjusted schedule.  The assembly will take place from 9:33 - 10:33 a.m.  Junior Tri-Star students may attend but will need to be released early and only if you have your own transportation.  Also Juniors need to sign in at the office if attending.  Senior Tri-Star students will be released after the assembly and will miss your 3rd period class since it's later in the day.  Senior Tri-Star students should see their 3rd period teachers early for assignments.

Edison Community College in Piqua is offering an ACT PREP Course beginning on September 24th. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Stop in the guidance office for additional information.
 
Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for sophomores and juniors to be a friend for an area elementary student. The program meets once a week for group activities, snacks, games and LOTS of fun!
Applications are available in the Guidance office.

Ryan Hoyng (3 goals), Eric Moeder, Brennen Piper, Eddie Eichler, Braden Conn, & Jarren Casto all had 1 goal.
JV won 4-0

Celina Varsity Volleyball lost in four sets last night against Marion Local....
17-25, 25-23, 16-25, and 21-25.
Girls played very well despite the loss.  Stats can be found on Maxpreps if interested.
Celina JV lost in three sets.
 
Boys Soccer Results in New Knoxville
Varsity won 3-0
Goals scored by Eric Moeder, Ryan Hoyng, and Jarren Casto
JV defeated Miami East 7-0

Do you want to make a mark in your school's history?????
Join ANILEC (the yearbook staff)
If you want ta club to join that involves photography, graphics, socialization and fun, then it is for you!!
First meeting is during I/E period TODAY in room 104 (Mrs. Langmeyer's room).

During lunch, students need to go to the office to receive their new USERNAME and PASSWORD for Progress Book, if you haven't already!!
 
The Stratford Trip has seats available for this year's trip on October 9, 10, and 11. There are just a couple of days left to sign up.  See Mr. Smith in room 214 for sign-up sheets and information.

The C.H.S. Autumn Theatre auditions for Once Upon a Wolf, are TONIGHT from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Celina Ed. Complex. These auditions are closed- just bring yourself! There is no singing required. This is a wonderful comedy, and we need a large cast of zany characters! Once you have auditioned you are permitted to leave. Hope to see you TONIGHT!!! Do not go to I/E PERIOD that day!! Report directly to the Media Center. Attendance will be taken there.

     **Spirit squad is in need of workers for Friday's game.  See Miss Sneddon ASAP if you are interested.  Also, don't forget the theme for Friday is Breast Cancer Awareness so be sure to wear your pink!  Dawg Town still has T-shirts available for purchase with all funds going to the Cancer Society.  Be sure to follow the Spirit Squad on twitter for your chance to win Friday's trivia question!  If you don't know what we're talking about see Camille Smith, last week's winner of a $10 gift card to C-Town wings!

     **Today is your last chance to post a "week in 3 words".  See Kassie for a camera during lunch or advisory.

    **Young Democrats meeting is TODAY in room 304, after the announcements.  A short "Mock Trial" meeting will also be TODAY after school.

     **All students who have ordered a 2011-2012 ANILEC, please pick up your yearbook this week in the Media Center.  The media specialists will be available 30 minutes before and after school AND during lunch and advisory.  An additional ANILEC costs $60.

     **FTA meeting TODAY after announcements in the Lecture Hall.  Bring your $2.00 dues, or pay to Mr. Ellinger in room 301 by tomorrow.  You will receive a pass back to your advisory after the FTA meeting.

     **FYI...The Vehicle Maintenance Inspection event on Sept. 13th was a great success.  AAA was able to inspect a total of 53 cars.  Unfortunately the failure results were rather high, with over 60% of tires having some sort of fault.  This is the highest percentage AAA has seen this year.  If you have time, come see the "inspection results" graph posted on the window in the lobby.  It outlines the importance of your vehicle and safety.

Any girl basketball player that signed up for the Celina Fall League, please stop by Coach Hainline's room to get a schedule for this weekend.

JV Girls Golfers:  please put your "cleaned out" golf bags in the coaches' office by tomorrow (Friday).  Also, any golfer that owes coach Hainline money for their uniform, please get it to her by Friday.
