STUDENT INFORMATION

The next New York payment is due to Miss Brunswick or Ms. Sutter by TOMORROW!!

Sign up in the office for our annual Blood Drive which will be here on Tuesday, October 22nd. You must be 16 years of age to donate!!

Any students in Honors Math and Science this year that are interested in being part of the Engineering Club and/or TEAMS AND did not attend last Thursday's meeting...please see Mrs. Draiss ASAP!!

Homecoming tickets will be on sale during lunch starting TODAY through next Friday, October 4th. Tickets will be $8 individual or $15 per couple.
PRE-SALE TICKETS ONLY!!!
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR!!

HENCEFORTH, ALL F.T.A. Teacher Assistants must check in with Mr. Ellinger, room 301, BEFORE reporting to their assigned teacher at Celina Primary OR Celina Middle School (otherwise, they will be reported as "ABSENT"). Also note...on TUESDAYS there will be a brief FTA Business Meeting in room 301 during I/E for ALL members of FTA, INCLUDING F.T.A. Teacher Assistants.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all those going on the Stratford Trip TOMORROW in room 214 during I/E period. See Mr. Smith for details.

The lunch menu for FRIDAY is Mexican Bar:  nachos, burrito, taco with lettuce & cheese, refried beans, fruit and milk OR a cheeseburger sandwich.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

ATTENTION ALL GIRL AND BOY BASKETBALL PLAYERS....

There will be a shoe fitting in the girls locker room TODAY during lunchtime. Make sure you get there even if you have Post Secondary. If you cannot be there, please notify your coach.

 

GUIDANCE

The following colleges/universities will have a representative at CHS during I/E period in October.  You must sign up in the Guidance Office if you wish to attend the presentation.

If you are planning to take a non-Celina student to the Celina Homecoming, you must fill out a "Homecoming Visitor Form" which is located in the front office.

Registration forms for the High School Bowling Team are due no later than Monday, September 30th.  You may get your registration form in the office.  Practice begins October 8th.

Braden Conn had 2 goals, Ethan Phlipot and Payton Smalley had 1 goal.

STUDENT INFORMATION

Thank you to all who participated in the Celina High School Vehicle Maintenance Inspection.  48 cars were evaluated.  Unfortunately, the number of failures revealed is rather high, as over 85% of all vehicles inspected had at least one failure.  If you have not done so already, find an Approved Auto Repair facility near you, and practice preventative maintenance.  For full inspection results, please view the chart which is located on the front office window!

Our annual Blood Drive will be at the high school on Tuesday, October 22nd.  You must be at least 16 years old to DONATE BLOOD!  So be heroic, come in the office, and sign up to donate!!

Order forms for the Battle of Grand Lake t-shirts are in the office and due Tuesday, September 24th.  T-shirts are $10.

     **CHS Students for Life:  There will be a meeting in Mr. Andrew's room by the media center on Friday, October 26th.  All are welcome to attend.   

     **There will be an F.T.A. meeting after announcements TODAY to discuss fundraisers and future plans.  Bring your $2.00 dues payment.

     **Reminder to ReQuest staff to turn in your bios to Mrs. Lefeld as soon as possible.
    
  **Do you miss watching "week in 3 words"???  If so, let us film you, any time, any where.  See Kassie!!

     **Come to the Media Center and check out the guillotine that Mr. Jon Clouse built and the showcase that Mrs. Smith created for her French students.  This is something you don't want to miss...very impressive!!!

Anyone interested in or thinking about swimming or diving on this year's high school team needs to attend a mandatory pre-season meeting on Tuesday October 30th at the middle school cafeteria.  Practice times, Meet dates, expectations, and equipment needs will be discussed.

Girls and Boys Basketball players will have a shoe fitting TODAY in the gym during Advisory period.
