STUDENT INFORMATION

Is your Car Winter Ready???? On Thursday, September 12th from 10:55 am to 1:00 pm AAA certified technicians will inspect cars free of charge in the student parking lot. After the inspection is complete, all participants receive a FREE LUNCH, compliments of AAA.

Senior Night Forms must be turned in TODAY to MP!!

There will be a SADD meeting Thursday, Sept. 12th after school in Mrs. Wenning's room 211.  If you cannot make it, see Mrs. Wenning.

This year's fall homecoming theme, decided by the seniors, will be....
HIP HOP!!!
The Homecoming game is October 4th and the dance is October 5th at 8:00 p.m.
Underclassmen dress formal and seniors dress to the theme.
 
Spirit Squad will have a meeting right after school TODAY in room 212. Bring a bag of candy if you are able!
 
The lunch menu for TUESDAY is pasta bar, Texas toast, carrots, applesauce, and milk OR a grilled cheese sandwich. 

 
GUIDANCE
Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for sophomores and juniors to be a friend for an area elementary student. The program meets once a week for group activities, snacks, games and LOTS of fun!
Applications are available in the Guidance office.
 
The following colleges/universities will have a representative at CHS during I/E period in September.  You must sign up in the guidance office if you wish to attend the presentation.

JV Won 5 - 0

The Stratford Trip has a few seats available for this year's trip on October 9, 10, and 11. There is just ONE DAY left to sign up. See Mr. Smith in room 214 for sign-up sheets and information TODAY!

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

Pre-sale tickets will be sold every Thursday and Friday in the High School Athletic Office from 10:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. Student pre-sale tickets are $4.00. Adult pre-sale tickets are $6.00. All general admission tickets will be $6.00 at the gate.

Reserved seats are still available at $30.00 each and student general admission season passes are available for $17.50 each for the five home games.
 

BOYS SOCCER RESULTS:  Against OG, Varsity won 3-1
Goals:  Eric Moeder, Cole Loughridge, and Jarren Casto
JV tied 1-1
 
CELINA VARSITY VOLLEYBALL lost in 4 sets to OG last night....
23-25, 25-22, 21-25, 20-25.
Updated stats on Maxpreps, and also a stat report on the Lima News and in the Daily Standard.
Celina JV and Freshmen both won in 3 sets as well!!
 

Special birthday wishes go out today to Frank Townsend, Grant Bader, and Megan Alt.  Also Happy "early" Birthday  to Cory Schroeder, Baylee Casto, Josiah Werling, Jessie Braun, Connor Wheat, Andrew Golden, Adam Mullins, Nicholas Gann, and John Stammen.  Hoping your weekend is as special as YOU!!  :)

Fall makeup/retake picture day is WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16th!!

The Book Club will meet Tuesday, September 17th during I/E period in the Media Center. Please stop in NOW and talk to Mrs. Baltzell if you plan to join. The club meets every Tuesday and students are required to read one book a month; then they meet and discuss it during I/E.
Mrs. Baltzell has another NOOK available for checkout. See her if you are interested!!
 
During lunch, students need to go to the office to receive their new USERNAME and PASSWORD for Progress Book, if you haven't already!!

TOMORROW is FTA DOLLAR DOUGHNUT DAY!!
