The ANILEC is asking for all Seniors to begin turning in their baby pictures and senior pictures for use in this year's upcoming yearbook. Bring your baby pictures and senior pictures (with your name on it) to the office OR preferably upload the image(s) to hjeshare.com, code: celina. Also, 2012-2013 ANILECs are still available to those who would like to purchase one. Don't forget to order your 2013-14 ANILEC too!! 

The theme for Winter Homecoming is AMERICA. It will be on January 11th, from 8 - 11 p.m. Tickets will be sold at lunch in the lobby TODAY and TOMORROW!!  Tickets can also be purchased at the door. The price is $8.00.

There is a Scheduled 2-Hour Delay on Monday, January 13th!!
Tri-Star will be running a normal schedule on January 13th at all sites!!

Do you want to be a positive role model while making new friends?  Do you want to make a difference in your school and community?  Do you want to have fun without alcohol, tobacco, and drugs?  If so....Join us for the next Mercer County S.T.O.P. (Students Teaching Others Prevention) meeting.  The next Mercer County S.T.O.P. meeting is Monday, January 13th at 7 pm in the Coldwater High School Cav Room.

This weekend, come to the Celina Ed Complex Auditorium and watch the Celina Middle School Musical ...Disney's ALADDIN Jr.  The show times are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 AND Sunday at 2:30.  Tickets are $6.  You're gonna love it!!

The lunch menu for FRIDAY is Mexican Bar;  nachos, burrito, taco with lettuce and cheese, refried beans, fruit, and milk OR a cheeseburger.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

Pre-sale tickets for BOYS BASKETBALL will be sold every Thursday and Friday in the High School Athletic Office from 10:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Student pre-sale tickets are $4.00. Adult pre-sale tickets are $6.00. All general admission tickets will be $6.00 at the door.

TONIGHT'S GIRLS BASKETBALL GAME HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO MONDAY, JANUARY 27TH!!

 

GUIDANCE

The Celina High School Post-Secondary Enrollment Options meeting will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 6 p.m. in the high school Lecture Hall.  The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program provides high school students the opportunity to take classes at eligible post-secondary institutions.  Any student who is considering taking college classes during the 2014-15 school year must attend with a parent.  An advisor from Wright State Lake Campus will be present to help answer any questions.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS.....SIGN UP IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE to attend the 4th session, sponsored by Celina Mercer County Chamber & Rotary Club, which will take place on TOMORROW, December 17th during I.E./Advisory. This topic will focus on "Resumes Reflect You!" The more sessions you attend, the greater chance of winning a FLAT SCREEN TV!!

Book Club will meet on TOMORROW, DECEMBER 17TH for a Christmas party, book discussion, and to get your new book.  See Mrs. Baltzell so we can plan the food you want.  Book Club meets in the Media Center during I/E period.

Starting TODAY, DECEMBER 16th, during lunch you can buy a yard of duct tape for $1.00 to tape one of your classmates up to a wall during the Christmas assembly.

Freshmen class ring delivery on Wednesday, December 18th during I/E!!

IT IS NOT TOO LATE to sign up in the office FOR THE BLOOD DRIVE, which will take place on Thursday, December 19th. BE A HERO!!

Anyone who would like to participate in the Christmas assembly on Friday, December 20th, please sign up for different activities in the lobby!! Student Council needs students from each grade.

The auditions for the C.H.S. Spring Musical SHREK is TOMORROW, DECEMBER 17TH

FROM 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. AT THE ED. COMPLEX.

Please have a short Broadway - STYLE Song selection prepared.

An accompanist will be available. No acappella auditions, please!!

All Celina High School students are welcome to audition!!

Performances will be April 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, and 13.

There will be a mandatory meeting for all those cast December 19th 6:00 - 9:00.

Rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings. Be prepared to list all possible conflicts!!

The lunch menu for TUESDAY, DECEMBER 17TH is pasta bar, bread stick, carrots, applesauce, and milk OR a sub sandwich.
