REMINDER....NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 21ST!!
 
If you are donating blood next Tuesday, make sure you bring a photo ID or your Red Cross Donor Card.  Also a reminder to all 16 year olds donating blood....TURN IN YOUR PARENT PERMISSION FORM (if you haven't already), SO YOU CAN DONATE!!  :)
 
Edward Jones in cooperation with "Operation Gratitude" invites you in thanking our Service men and women and first responders as we collect used cell phones. Money earned from the recycling of cell phones will provide care packages for these men and women. You can deposit used cell phones in the high school office in the box labeled "Operation Gratitude".

There will be an After Prom Meeting on Wednesday, November 6th at 7:00 pm in the High School Cafeteria.  Chair people have been chosen....but WE NEED MORE HELPERS PLEASE!!!!!
 
At the end of the day yesterday, Celina and Parkway were tied for first place in the Best Fans in the Land photo contest sponsored by Stolly Insurance.  Please help us win a pizza tailgate!  Get on facebook and visit the Stolly Insurance page to vote!!
 
There are sign up sheets in room 212 if you would like to work the spaghetti dinner at the fairgrounds on November 1st or any of the remaining two home games for Spirit Squad.  Spots are filling up quickly and are first come first serve.
 
Don't forget, Mrs. Ball has 5 all sports passes that can be used to get into any home games that are not varsity football or basketball.  Stop by if you would like to borrow one and help support your bulldogs!
 
The lunch menu for TUESDAY is pasta bar, Texas toast, carrots, applesauce and milk OR a BBQ pulled pork sandwich.
SPORTS/ATHLETICS
 
All baseball players, not in a fall sport, need to meet at the varsity diamond after school TODAY for a throwing session.
 
BOYS SOCCER lost to St. Marys 0 - 2 in tournament finishing with a record of 9 - 6 - 3.
 
CELINA VARSITY VOLLEYBALL beat Wapak last night in 3 games to advance to the sectional finals on Saturday at Lima Senior at 2 pm. 
Scores were 25-22, 25-18, 25-15.

Happy Birthday TODAY Emily Dorsten and Sarah Ross!!  Also special birthday wishes go out this weekend to Kelsey Compson, Roger Breault, John Selzer, Karissa Powell, Brianna Hawkins, Zachary Wurster, Grant Laffin, Lydia Cron, Sara Mestemaker, and Mackenzie Carnahan....wishing you MAGIC on your special day filled with love and hugs.  :)

Edward Jones in cooperation with "Operation Gratitude" invites you in thanking our Service men and women and first responders as we collect used cell phones. Money earned from the recycling of cell phones will provide care packages for these men and women. You can deposit used cell phones in the high school office in the box labeled "Operation Gratitude".

REMINDER TO ALL SENIORS: Senior Picture Day is TOMORROW!!  ALL SENIORS are required to wear a white shirt for the picture PLEASE!!

There will be a mandatory NHS meeting in MP's room TOMORROW at 7:10 before school.
DON'T BE LATE!!

Students involved in TEAMS are to meet in the Lecture Hall for practice TODAY for an engineering presentation. Other students interested in learning about engineering are also welcome to attend. See your Math teacher or Mrs. Draiss if you need a pass.

Teens in 7th through 12th grade are invited to come dressed as Zombies and enjoy the movie Warm Bodies; rated PG-13, on Thursday, October 24th. Doors will open at 5:30 pm. Pizza, pop and brains will be served. Prizes for the best dressed will be award. Pre-registration is required. Call the library in Celina to sign-up at 419-586-4442 or register online at goo.gl/PvgZG8.

REMINDER....tomorrow is fall make-up/retake picture day.  Picture packets are still available in the office.

If you haven't turned in your Photo Release Form and/or your Acceptable Use Policy.....DO IT NOW or your computer access will be denied!!! See Mrs. Baltzell with any questions.

ATTENTION any junior who registered to take the PSAT: the test is this Wednesday periods 1 - 3. You should report to the Lecture Hall before 1st period. Attendance will be taken there. Bring pencils and a calculator.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!  This Thursday, October 17th there will be a bonfire at the Mercer County Fairgrounds to support our Dogs!  The fire starts at 7 and is open to the public.  Admission is free but please bring a canned food item to help support the C.A.L.L food pantry.  See you there!

Any girl basketball player, not playing a fall sport, there will be open gym this week (tonight and Thursday) at 4:00 pm at the Fieldhouse.  This is a change in your schedule!!

 
BOYS SOCCER defeated Kenton 2 - 0 in the first round of the tournament.
Goals were scored by Brennen Piper and Hank Thobe.
