STUDENT INFORMATION

SENIORS: GRADUATION PRACTICE IS FRIDAY, MAY 23RD AT 8:30 A.M. SHARP!! DO NOT BE LATE, BECAUSE PRACTICE WILL NOT START UNTIL ALL SENIORS ARE PRESENT!! ALSO THE 2014 GRADUATION CEREMONY WILL BE SATURDAY, MAY 24TH AT 10:30 A.M. GRADUATES MUST REPORT TO THE HIGH SCHOOL BY 9:00 A.M.

SENIORS....Turn in your library books in NOW!!
UNDERCLASSMEN...Your library books are due!!  Return them as soon as possible, please!!  You will be charged for any items not returned to the Media Center.

The lunch menu for WEDNESDAY is chicken strips, broccoli with cheese, dinner roll, fruit, and milk.

There will be a soccer meeting TODAY, May 20th in room 114 at 1:45 for those interested in going out for 2014 team. Coach MP will give you a pass following the meeting.

COACH BIHN announced....There will be NO OPEN GYM on Thursday, May 22nd due to Graduation!!

There will be a meeting, for all boys planning on playing basketball next year, during I/E in Coach Bihn's room on Wednesday, May 21st.  Summer schedules and workout times will be handed out during the meeting. 
If you are unable to attend, see Coach Bihn.

STUDENT INFORMATION

Please return your library books as soon as possible to the Media Center.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Please pick up your senior/baby pictures in the Media Center between classes, during advisory, or at the end of the day until 2:30.  ONLY TAKE YOUR PICTURES AND PLEASE DO IT ASAP!!  :) 

Any Sophomore interested in running for Junior Class Office for the next school year, please sign up in the office by next Thursday.  We will have a short meeting on Thursday of next week, for all those who signed up, during advisory in Room 115.  Finally, elections will be held during advisory next Friday.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sutter or Mr. Higgins.

There will be a student council meeting for new members during advisory in the Lecture hall Monday, May 13th.  Please pick up your pass in Mrs. Mitchell Payne's class immediately.

The lunch menu for MONDAY is shrimp poppers, macaroni and cheese, green beans, fruit and milk.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

ATTENTION BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS:  There will be a meeting in the cafeteria during advisory on Tuesday May 14th for all players interested in playing basketball this next season.  You will get summer expectations along with a schedule.  Please make arrangements to be at the meeting or let Coach Bihn know if you want to be there but cannot. 

 

ATTENTION NEXT SCHOOL YEAR'S JUNIOR AND SENIOR CLASSES:  The Celina Athletic Department is looking to replace two or three members for the 2013 -14 Western Buckeye League Sportsmanship Committee.

Applications may be picked up in the Attendance/Athletic Office beginning TODAY!!  These are due before Friday, May 24th. 

GUIDANCE

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Any Senior that earned a scholarship needs to drop off a picture to the Guidance Office if you want your picture to appear in the Daily Standard with the Scholarship article. 

Bring your picture to the Guidance Office by May 16th.  Please write your name on the back of the picture and drop off to Mrs. Booher.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  If you were not at the Senior meeting to fill out a Post High School Plans form, please stop in the Guidance Office and pick up a form. 

If you have a Post High School Plans form that you have not turned in to Guidance, please do so IMMEDIATELY!!

STUDENT INFORMATION

The Miss Lake Festival Scholarship Pageant will be held on Monday July 22, 2013.  This pageant is only open to young women who are 17 years of age and a High School Senior by July 18th.  Phases of the competition include talent, private interview, evening wear, and swim wear.  In 2012, this scholarship program awarded over $12,000.  For more information, please contact Melissa Hoying at 419-733-0814.  THE DEADLINE IS TOMORROW!!

STUDENT INFORMATION

Attention any zoology student who HAS turned in the required forms for the zoo trip....Plan on attending a meeting during Advisory time Thursday where you can turn in $4 to cover the cost of the trip and receive some important final info for the trip.  Anyone who cannot attend this meeting should see Mr. Hricko with their money before the end of the week.  If you have NOT turned in your forms or spoken with Mr. Hricko about them yet, you cannot attend the trip.
