SENIORS: GRADUATION PRACTICE IS TOMORROW, MAY 23RD AT 8:30 A.M. SHARP!! DO NOT BE LATE, BECAUSE PRACTICE WILL NOT START UNTIL ALL SENIORS ARE PRESENT!! ALSO THE 2014 GRADUATION CEREMONY WILL BE SATURDAY, MAY 24TH AT 10:30 A.M. GRADUATES MUST REPORT TO THE HIGH SCHOOL BY 9:00 A.M.

Prom DVDs are NOW available to purchase for only $5 in the Media Center.

HONOR COUNCIL INTERVIEWS will take place on TUESDAY, MAY 27th during I/E and WEDNESDAY, MAY 28th, before and after school.  Please come to room 212 to sign up for a time.  Any questions, please see Mrs. Kramer, Mrs. Lefeld, or Mrs. Ball.

ATTENTION ALL LIBRARY HELPERS THIS YEAR...
Hotdogs and chips will be served during all 3 lunches TODAY, May 22nd in the Media Center. It is a special lunch for helping this year!!

The lunch menu for FRIDAY is provided by the National Guard which will be hotdogs on the grill, chips, and punch!!

COACH BIHN announced....There will be NO OPEN GYM TONIGHT, May 22nd due to Graduation!!

Coach Moorman has scheduled a Girls Golf meeting on Tuesday, May 27th at 2:30 in the High School cafeteria. At the meeting, uniforms and the open golf schedule for June and July will be discussed. If you are thinking about joining the team, please plan to attend this meeting!! If you are unable to attend, but would like to join the team please email Coach Moorman at kelsey.moorman@celinaschools.org.

Another "Senior Moment" will soon pass into history for the class of 2014.  FTA donut day is this Friday, May 16th!!

Also, any senior that earned a scholarship needs to also drop off a picture to the Guidance Office, if you want your picture to appear in the Daily Standard with the scholarship article. Bring the picture to the Guidance Office by May 15th. Please write your name on the back of the picture and drop if off to Mrs. Booher in the Guidance Office.


Congratulations to the BOYS TENNIS team for being Co-WBL Champs!! WBL Champions included: Alex Seibel at 2nd singles, Hagan Kriegel and Joel Weitz at 2nd doubles, Isaac Elston and Kris LeJeune at 1st Doubles. Also Aaron Seibel was third at 1st singles and Nathan Lutz was 7th at 3rd singles.

If you are interested in running for Class President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Treasurer, please sign up THIS WEEK in the main office and indicate which position you would like to run for. There is a sign up sheet for current Sophomores interested in running for Junior class officer spots and a separate sign up sheet for current Juniors interested in running for Senior class officer spots. The computer system at school is once again asking users to change their passwords. When you get the "14 days till expires" message, please change your password IMMEDIATELY and write down your new one in a secure place. It will not remind you again!! It will block you out of your account if you don't change it right away, so don't ignore it!!

On Wednesday and Thursday of this week, TriStar Auto Tech Seniors, Andy J. Sneddon and Andrew Koch, were in Cleveland competing in the Ford/AAA Ohio State Student Troubleshooting Contest.  Over 800 students in Ohio took the qualifying exam.  Andy and Andrew took 5th place and each received $10,000 in scholarships!!

STUCO IS PLANNING FOR THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR.... students need to pick up a locker sign up sheet in the office according to their grade.  DO NOT sign them yet or else they will not be valid.  All locker forms are due to the office by Friday!!
If you are interested in serving as a class officer for next year's senior class, please sign up in the office so that your name can be on the ballot.  You must sign up by TOMORROW, and the election will be next Monday the 20th.  The Class of 2014 Senior Class Officers will be announced on Tuesday morning.

There will be a Student Council Meeting TOMORROW in the Lecture Hall to turn in all Porkchop Dinner ticket money and unsold tickets.  IT MUST BE TURNED IN BY THIS TIME!!

Any Sophomore interested in running for Junior Class Office for the next school year, please sign up in the office by Thursday.  We will have a short meeting on Thursday, for all those who signed up, during advisory in Room 115.  Finally, elections will be held during advisory Friday.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sutter or Mr. Higgins.

GRADUATING SENIORS:  Please clean out your locker in the CAPT Athletic annex this week and return your lock, in order to receive your $5 deposit refund.  Seniors lockers will be cleaned out next week and items left will be donated to a charity.  Mr. Nuding will be available after school until 3:00 pm for your refund.
