Our Herff Jones representative, Rod Williams, will be here TODAY, March 13th during lunch time to pass out Graduation orders.
 
Calculus projects are on display across from the Media Center.
Stop by and check them out!!

The lunch menu for FRIDAY is Mexican Bar:  nachos, burrito, taco with lettuce and cheese, refried beans, fruit, & milk OR a fish or a cheeseburger sandwich.
Cheer tryouts for next school year will be held TODAY, MARCH 13th from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Field house; FRIDAY, MARCH 14th from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at CIS; and MONDAY, MARCH 17TH from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Fieldhouse. Please sign the sheet and take an information sheet which are both located in the office. See Miss Brunswick with any questions.

The 2014 FCA District 8 Volleyball ALL NIGHTER is Saturday, March 15th from 9:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. at the Auglaize/Mercer YMCA. The cost is $15 PRE-registration or $20 at the door which includes a volleyball tournament, food, a guest speaker, a band, a free t-shirt, and access to the YMCA facilities. Anyone interested in attending can get registration forms from Coach Otten or Mr. Andrew.

ATTENTION SENIORS: There is a change in the William and Patsy Dawson Scholarship. It is now open to any student majoring in Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, or Elementary Education.

The Rotary Scholarship is due FRIDAY, MARCH 14th at 3:00 p.m.
The Rotary will be here at that time to pick up the applications.
PLEASE, make sure ALL of your paperwork is in the Guidance Office no later than 3:00 FRIDAY, March 14th.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES AND ANY JUNIOR OR SENIOR NEEDING TO TAKE THE OGT SCIENCE TEST.....The Science OGT test will be given on MONDAY, March 17th.  Celina High School will be on a 2 hour delay (WHITE SCHEDULE) for ALL FRESHMEN, and ANY JUNIOR OR SENIOR who has passed the Science portion.  SOPHOMORES need to report to their testing rooms on MONDAY, 3-17-14, by 7:25 a.m.

Celina Bus Transportation will be operating on NORMAL SCHEDULE.

Tri Star will be on NORMAL SCHEDULE during OGT week.

Sophomores will be on NORMAL SCHOOL TIME the week of 3/10/14 to take the OGT’s. Ask your advisory teacher for which room to report to Monday morning.  Lists will be posted on the front office window.

Any junior &/or senior still needing an OGT should have received a letter or a notice from the Guidance Office.

NOTICE to any freshman, junior or senior arriving before 9:15 AM during OGT week, you are to go to the CAFETERIA. PLEASE----NO ONE in the HALLWAYS.


Congrats ANDY SNEDDON for earning the right to compete at State in April for the Tri-Star program in Skills USA.....Bronze Medal & $1,000 scholarship.

Tri-Star competed in 7 contests and medaled in 6 of the contests!!

Congrats ZACH BOATRIGHT for representing Tri-Star Career Compact at the State BPA (Business Professionals of America) this Thursday and Friday in Columbus. GOOD LUCK ZACH!

We would like to extend a very Happy Birthday to Jackie Figel III, Derek Donovan, and Taylor Siegrist!

Tickets for this year's spring musical, Shrek, are on sale NOW!!  Performances are April 3rd - April 6th and April 10th - April 13th.  Stop by the office to pick up a ticket form to reserve your seats today!!
 
Any student in Mrs. Langmeyer's Healthy and Safe food/FCCLA class 1st or 2nd trimester is invited to go along on the International Foods field trip to Jungle Jim's near Cincinnati.  The trip is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26th.  If you are interested, see Mrs. Langmeyer to receive a permission slip and additional information. AFTERNOON TRI-STAR CLASSES ARE CANCELLED FOR THIS AFTERNOON, 3.12.14.  However, Celina students with Celina programs will run as normal.

JUNIORS....the final day to turn in all raffle tickets is TODAY, March 10th!!!
Mrs. Sutter needs ALL ticket stubs/money or unsold tickets by this morning,
3-10-14.  We will be drawing the winners at the end of 5th period.  Remember you are responsible for all the tickets you have taken out. 

The lunch menu for TUESDAY is pasta bar, bread stick, carrots, applesauce, and milk OR a sub sandwich.
The lunch menu for WEDNESDAY is chicken strips, broccoli with cheese, dinner roll, fruit and milk.

Anyone who pre-ordered and purchased 2013 ANILEC yearbook, may pick them up NOW through Friday during I/E period in the Media Center.

Many students have not turned in their AUPs or Photo Release forms to the Media Center. A list is posted by the Media Center and on the front office window. Please look at the list and get your forms turned in right away. Mr. Gudorf is going to disable your computer access if your proper documentation is not turned in.

Spots are still open to work (selling programs) for this Friday's game. See Mrs. Ball in room 212 to sign up. For those of you that have early release, there will be a pep assembly on Friday during I/E period if you'd like to stay.

Join us Friday, October 4th for a tailgate party right after school. Meet by the rock for free hot dogs and pop from Friendly Markets and cookies from Charlie's Bakery! You can get your face painted, your car painted, play games, or pay fifty cents to smash the ugly blue and yellow car! The band will meet us at the rock at 6:45 to lead us, as one, to the game. Don't miss this opportunity to show support for your Bulldogs.

GUIDANCE

Friday, October 4th....there will be a Physical Therapist in the CAPT building to talk to any student interested in a career in Physical Therapy. She will be speaking form 1:30 - 2:20 pm. Interested students should sign up in the Guidance Office and be in the CAPT building during Friday's I/E period.
 
 Rhodes State College will have a representative in the Media Center during I/E TODAY!!  If you wish to attend the presentation, and you have not signed up, please sign up in the Guidance Office by the end of 2nd period TODAY.

     **This HOLIDAY SEASON give something that means something GIVE BLOOD and HELP SAVE LIVES!  The blood drive will be on Thursday, December 20th from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Since this is the second drive for the school year, each person who comes to donate will receive a really cool t-shirt....sooooo DONATE!!  The sign up sheet is in the office.

     **Please donate to the toy drive for Dayton Children's in Room 212 by Dec. 11th.  See Miss Sneddon, Mrs. Kramer, or Mrs. Brunswick with questions.

     **There will be a brief "Students for Life" meeting TODAY after school in Mr. Andrew's room #109.
    
     **Students who wish to take the National German Exam must have their $5.00 in to Mrs. Tobe by the end of TODAY!!

     **SENIORS....REMINDER Dec. 1st is the deadline to place your graduation orders before prices increase.  If you have not placed your order, you may do it online at www.hjgraduation.com.

     **The annual Financial Aid Night is Monday evening, December 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Lecture Hall.  All college-bound seniors and parents are encouraged to attend this session which will be conducted by Melanie Weaver, a University Financial Aid Advisor.

           **The lunch menu for Monday is shrimp poppers, macaroni & cheese, green beans, fruit, and milk OR a ham sandwich.



Boys Basketball season tickets for students and adults will be on sale in the Athletic Office any day this week.

Pre-Sale tickets for Friday and Saturday HOME games may be purchased on Thursday or Friday from 10:45 - 2:45.  The ticket prices are $4 presale or $6 at the door.
