The PLAN test is being offered on Oct. 3 to any
sophomore who wishes to take it as preparation to take the ACT. Interested students can register with Mrs.
Booher in the Guidance Office during the week Sept. 10 – Sept. 14. You must bring a check for $11.25 made out to
Celina High School.

The American Red Cross will be here on Wednesday
October 3rd. Please be kind
and donate your time and a pint of blood.

An appointment schedule is available in the office. This is a wonderful opportunity to help those
out who are less fortunate.

Just a friendly reminder…..If you are inviting a
current high school student (grades 9-12) from another school, you must fill
out a homecoming guest form by October 4th. The forms are located in the front office.

Would you like to meet new friends who can
support you through times of negative peer pressure???? S.T.O.P. (Students Teaching Others
Prevention) is a group of Mercer County high school students who come together
and learn about ways to stand strong in their belief not to use alcohol,
tobacco, and other drugs, as well as help prevent bullying and suicide. Come to the first meeting on Monday, September
10th from 7 – 8:30 pm at the Coldwater Memorial Park. We will play games, eat food, discuss issues,
discuss upcoming events, and offer support to one another! If you have any further questions or info on
future meetings which are held every month, please contact Laura at Gateway Outreach
Center at 419-586-4030.

The 2012 Celina Girls Basketball Fall League
registration is currently taking place.
Girls interested in playing fall
basketball can find signup information at www.celinahoops.com. Girls in grades 6-12 are eligible to
participate in a “playing” league that starts in Celina on September 30th
and will go through October 21st.
If you have questions, you may contact Coach Hainline at Celina High
School or Coach Stetler at the Ed Complex.

Bib Brothers Big Sisters is looking for
sophomores and juniors to be a friend for an area elementary student. The program meets once a week for group
activities, snacks, games and LOTS of fun!
Applications are available in the guidance office. We will also have a Big Brothers Big Sisters
representative here during lunch tomorrow.
Watch for her table in the hallway outside the cafeteria.
