STUDENT INFORMATION

NO EXCEPTIONS.......SENIORS, YOUR BABY PICTURES AND SENIOR PICTURES ARE DUE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST!!  IF THEY ARE NOT TURNED IN BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 31ST OR UPLOADED BY SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1ST, THEN YOUR LIFETOUCH PHOTO WILL BE USED IN THE 2013-2014 ANILEC!!

Don't forget to order your 2014 CHS YEARBOOK!!  Also, 2013 yearbooks are still available for purchase.

Any student scheduled for a Wednesday school or a 1 hour detention TODAY....the date has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 12th!!

The Scholastic Team is selling hot chocolate every morning before school in the Commons area. Cost is $1.00. You add all the marshmallows or whipped cream you want. Buy one for yourself or a friend.

The junior class needs workers for the concession stand for the boys' basketball game on Friday, January 31st.  Sign up TODAY in Mr. Higgins' room, room 201. All popcorn workers need to be at the Fieldhouse at 4:30 and all other workers need to be there at 5:30.

F.T.A. will be ready with donuts this Friday, January 31st!!

This Friday, January 31st, is the Spaghetti Dinner at the Mercer County Fairgrounds.  This event is open to the public and benefits the CALL food pantry.  Spirit Squad is in need of a few workers for this event.  If you are interested, please stop by Mrs. Ball's room to be added to the list.  We are also in need of baked goods to be served as dessert!!  Hope to see you there!!  :)

The lunch menu for THURSDAY is pasta bar, bread stick, green beans, pears, and milk OR a chicken patty sandwich.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

Pre-sale tickets for BOYS BASKETBALL will be sold every Thursday and Friday in the High School Athletic Office from 10:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Student pre-sale tickets are $4.00. Adult pre-sale tickets are $6.00. All general admission tickets will be $6.00 at the door.

RYAN HOYNG was nominated for our HUSTLE PLAYER OF THE YEAR contest put on by Stolly Insurance Group. You have until February 9th to make Ryan, and Celina, a winner!! Go to www.facebook.com/stollyinsurance and vote once a day!!

GUIDANCE

ATTENTION JUNIOR BOYS: The American Legion is sponsoring Buckeye Boys State which is a week-long program at Bowling Green State University from June 8th through June 15th. Any junior boy with scholastic achievement, leadership ability, an interest in government, and a willingness to be involved may pick up information in the Guidance Office.

Information is available in the Guidance Office for the following scholarships:
*Paul and Helen Meyer Memorial Scholarship
*D.A.R.E. Scholarship

The Marine Corp will have a representative here TODAY for a lunchtime visit.
