12.3.13The Dayton Children's Toy Drive is still trying to achieve our 1,500 toy goal. The cutoff date for toys is next Wednesday, December 11th. Please continue to think of those who are spending their Christmases in the hospital this year. We appreciate all of your help in spreading the word and your donations!!
NHS members....Your poinsettias will be available for pick up Wednesday, December 4th in the lobby at 1:30 p.m. Money is due Friday, December 6th and checks must be made out to Celina City Schools.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS.....plan on attending the 3rd session, sponsored by Celina Mercer County Chamber & Rotary Club, which will take place on TUESDAY, December 10th during I.E./Advisory. This topic will focus on "How Can I Afford It? Loans, Student Loans, and Insurance..." The more sessions you attend, the greater chance of winning a FLAT SCREEN TV!!
DIME WARS will start this Friday, December 6th during lunch. The winning grade will get to sit at the front of the "winter assembly" where the seniors usually sit. Remember....DIMES ARE NEGATIVE!! Money raised will go to buy Christmas presents for local children in need.
The junior class needs workers for the concession stand for the boys' basketball game on Saturday, December 7th. Sign up TODAY in Mr. Higgins' room, room 201. All popcorn workers need to be at the Fieldhouse at 4:30 and all other workers need to be there at 5:30.
The ANILEC is asking for all seniors to begin turning in their baby pictures and senior pictures for use in this year's upcoming yearbook. Bring your baby pictures and senior pictures (with your name on it) to the office OR preferably upload the image(s) to hjeshare.com, code: celina. Also, ORDER YOUR 2014 CHS YEARBOOK TODAY!! PRICE GOES UP 1/1/14. 2013 YEARBOOKS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE.

ATTENTION SENIORS WHO PLAN TO CONTINUE EDUCATION AFTER HIGH SCHOOL.....There will be a Financial Aid Meeting for seniors and parents on Monday, December 9th at 6:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall. A University Financial Aid Advisor will be presenting the information. Please note this date is different from what is shown on the District calendar.
