STUDENT INFORMATION

        **PROM DRESS EXCHANGE is here at the High School this Sunday, January 6, 2013.  SELL or BUY GENTLY USED DRESSES;  there are gorgeous dresses at great prices!!

     **Fighting for Flaute wristbands are in the office for $2.  All proceeds will go to the Dan Flaute Family, in which Dan is battling pancreatic cancer.

     **Don't forget about our study tables which are offered every day after school from 2:30 - 3:00 AND on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:00.  If you need some extra help, we are here for you!!

     **Do you have any words of wisdom or week in 3 words???  If so, see Kassie!! 

     **There will be a French Club meeting in room 202 TODAY.  We will watch the video that we made!!  :)

     **SENIORS:  Senior class officers will be coming around the rest of this week during advisory to get signatures for the back of the senior shirts.  If you do not have an advisory, please stop in the office to sign your name on the bulldog print.  Order forms are due on FRIDAY!   
     **Don't forget to sign up in the office for the BLOOD DRIVE on Thursday February 21st!!

     **The 2013 CHS Spring Musical auditions for Grease are TOMORROW January 3rd from 6:00 - 9:00 at the Ed. Complex.  Please have a short Broadway - STYLE song selection prepared.  An accompanist will be available.  No acappella auditions, please.  All Celina High School students are welcome to audition!

     **The winner of the door decorating contest was Mr. Alig's advisory!  The kids enjoyed quite a few of the doors and the bribes.  Mrs. Draiss' class came in a close second!  CONGRATS and thank you to all those who participated.

     **Spirit Squad is in need of someone to sell programs at Friday and Saturday's basketball games.  Please see Miss Sneddon if you are interested. 

     **Students who are participating in the Ugandan pen pal exchange, please drop off your letters to Mrs. Clouse if you have not already done so.

    **ATTENTION:  Any student in Ms. Hainline's 2nd or 3rd trimester Civil Rights class, there will be a field trip next Friday, January 11th to the Underground Railroad Museum in Cincinnati.  The first 30 students that sign up may go.  See Ms. Hainline if you are interested.

     **The junior class needs concession stand workers for the boy's basketball game this Friday, January 4th.  Sign up today in room 201 (Mr. Higgin's room).  Popcorn workers report to the Field house at 4:30 and all other workers need to be there by 5:30.

     **Scholastic Team members should report to Mr. Hoover's room immediately after announcements today for a 5-minute meeting.  You will return to your respective advisories with a signed note.

     **Tri Star Career Compact is hosting its annual Open House on Monday evening, January 7th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Students, parents, school staff and the public are invited to see the great career technical programs being offered.  All classrooms will be open with teachers available.  Visit one or all locations in Celina, Montezuma, Coldwater, and St. Marys.  College representatives will be available at some locations to discuss financial aid, how you can earn free college credits, and more.  For details visit the Tri Star website(www.tristarcareercompact.com), see your guidance counselor or call the Tri Star office at 419-586-7060.

     **The lunch menu for Thursday is pasta bar, bread stick, green beans, pears, and milk OR a BBQ pork rib sandwich.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS


Pre-sale tickets fro Boys Basketball will be sold on Thursday and Friday in the Athletic Office for Friday's game.

ATTENTION TRACK ATHLETES:  Beginning Tuesday, January 8th, there will be SPEED TRAINING in the high school for those interested.  Sessions will be Tuesdays and Thursdays right after school in the lobby.  Questions????  Check with Coach Otten!  Athletes from other sports may attend as well.
