STUDENT INFORMATION

     **It is getting close to the end of the 1st trimester and our Lost and Found table in the office is extremely cluttered and full of clothes, jewelry, textbooks, agendas, etc.....SOOOOO if you have lost ANYTHING this year, come to the office because we may have it.  Otherwise we are "cleaning things out" by the end of today!!!

     **If you are free Saturday night, stop by the Potter House to see some artwork done by students here at CHS.  The Toms shoes that were decorated earlier this month will be on display during Downtown's Art walk sponsored by Pumpkin Glow.  There will be live music and art displays.  Come check it out!!

     **Don't forget to bring an extra dollar to the game tonight so that you can attend the 5th Quarter party right after the game.  There will be a DJ, snacks, and games - all free!  See you there and Go Dogs!

     **CHS Students for Life:  There will be a meeting in Mr. Andrew's room by the media center on TODAY.  All are welcome to attend.   

     **NEXT Friday will be an FTA "Dollar Donut Day!"

     **ANILEC yearbook staff meeting on Monday October 29th at 2:30 in the Media Center.  If you cannot attend, please text Mrs. Fetters.

     **Come to the Media Center and check out the guillotine that Mr. Jon Clouse built and the showcase that Mrs. Smith created for her French students.  This is something you don't want to miss...very impressive!!!
      
 **Monday lunch menu is Asian chicken, rice, mixed veggies, fruit and milk OR a corndog.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

Anyone interested in or thinking about swimming or diving on this year's high school team needs to attend a mandatory pre-season meeting on Tuesday October 30th at the middle school cafeteria.  Practice times, Meet dates, expectations, and equipment needs will be discussed.

Attention WBL Champ Girls Tennis and Girls Soccer Players:  You will be introduced at tonight's football game at 7:07 pm.  Be in front of the stadium before that time please!!

GUIDANCE

The following colleges/universities will have a representative at CHS during Advisory Period in November.  You must sign up in the guidance office if you wish to attend the presentation.
  • University of Toledo
  • Ohio University
  • Urbana University
  • Defiance College
  • The Ohio State University, Lima
Information is available in the Guidance Office for the Mercer County Elks Scholarships.

Wright State Lake Campus will have a representative here during Advisory Period Monday.  Juniors and Seniors may sign up in the Guidance Office if they wish to attend the presentation.  You must sign up no later than the end of 2nd period Monday morning or you will NOT be able to attend.


Happy Birthday to Mackenzi Hobbs....wishing you a day full of smiles!!  :)  Also special birthday wishes go out to Kylee Holbrook , Elizabeth Klepinger, Patrizio Martinez Rodrigues, David Kennedy, and Kristina Makley....we hope your weekend is full of good memories!
