STUDENT INFORMATION

   

     **There will be a spirit squad meeting in room 212 Monday right after school.

     **The toy drive for Dayton Childrens has only A FEW DAYS LEFT to donate!!  We are so very close to our goal of 500 toys, but not quite there yet.  If you can help us brighten the holidays for some very special children, please drop off your new, unwrapped gifts to room 212 or in the office.  No donation is too small and cash donations are accepted, too!

     **A SPECIAL REMINDER TO ALL HONOR ROLL STUDENTS FROM FIRST TRIMESTER:  If you haven't received your "sweet treat" from CHAMP, come to the office TODAY during lunch.  You deserve this, so don't miss out on this special award that is JUST FOR YOU!!

          **The lunch menu for Monday is chicken quesadilla with salsa, tossed salad, fruit and milk OR a sloppy jo sandwich.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS

ATTENTION FOOTBALL PLAYERS:  Off season lifting/training begins on Monday, December 10th in the CAPT building.  Be dressed and ready in the locker room by 2:35.  If you are not in a winter sport, you are expected to be there.  See Coach Rolfes, if you have any questions.

There will be an INDOOR TRACK meeting, for those willing to participate this winter, on Wednesday December 12th at 2:30 pm in the CAPT building classroom.  Please bring a pen or a pencil with you.  ALSO, WINTER SPORT PEOPLE....check with your winter sport coach for permission and then find Coach Otten.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY today to Miranda Limon and Dylan Grant.  Also special birthday wishes go out this weekend to Makayla Kittle, Kody Chilcoat, Ross Flaute, Zachary Mitchell, Jamie Black, and Leighann Buschor.....wishing you all a birthday filled with lots of smiles, laughter, and much happiness!!  :)

STUDENT INFORMATION

     **This HOLIDAY SEASON give something that means something GIVE BLOOD and HELP SAVE LIVES!  The blood drive will be on Thursday, December 20th from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Since this is the second drive for the school year, each person who comes to donate will receive a really cool t-shirt....sooooo DONATE!!  The sign up sheet is in the office.

     **There will be a brief "Students for Life" meeting after school tomorrow, Nov. 30th in Mr. Andrew's room #109.

     **Sponsor an FTA scholarship TOMORROW:  BUY A DONUT!!

     **Students who wish to take the National German Exam must have their $5.00 in to Mrs. Tobe by the end of this week.

     **SENIORS....REMINDER Dec. 1st is the deadline to place your graduation orders before prices increase.  If you have not placed your order, you may do it online at www.hjgraduation.com.

     **The annual Financial Aid Night is Monday evening, December 3rd at 6:30 pm in the Lecture Hall.  All college-bound seniors and parents are encouraged to attend this session which will be conducted by Melanie Weaver, a University Financial Aid Advisor.

     **Tomorrow during lunch, CHAMP will be giving out "sweet treats" to all of our HONOR ROLL students from first trimester.  WAY TO GO!!!

           **The lunch menu for Friday is Mexican Bar, nachos supreme, burrito, taco, fruit and milk OR a cheeseburger sandwich.

Boys Basketball season tickets for students and adults will be on sale in the Athletic Office any day this week.

Pre-Sale tickets for Friday and Saturday HOME games may be purchased on Thursday or Friday from 10:45 - 2:45.  The ticket prices are $4 presale or $6 at the door.
