ATTENTION SENIORS:  If you have ordered your Class of 2014 Senior shirt then we need you to provide your signature so they can be printed on the back of the shirts.  Please stop by the office TODAY or next week and see Kassie so we can get your signature and have the shirts printed.  If you did not order a Class of 2014 Senior shirt and would still like to do so, order forms are available in the main office.  OVISCO plans to have our shirts ready towards the end of this month.   GET YOUR SIGNATURES IN AND ORDER NOW!!

Come to the display cases outside the Media Center and see the new collection of owls.  English teacher, Mrs. Clouse, is sharing her collection of OWLS from all over the world ~ some of which she bought during her travels.  They are unique!!

There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, February 3rd during advisory in room 122 (Art room) for all participants going on the Art Trip to New York.  Students need to bring a picture ID.

The AAA Traffic Safety Poster Program is asking all students to GET CREATIVE and design a poster cautioning teens to avoid the many dangers facing teen drivers today. TRACK ATHLETES (or athletes from any sport) are invited to attend speed training/running drill sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions are after school in the HS lobby. For those who have early release, sessions are in the CAPT building at 1:35.

The Celina High School Post-Secondary Enrollment Options meeting will be held TODAY, January 15, 2014 at 6 p.m. in the high school Lecture Hall. The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program provides high school students the opportunity to take classes at eligible post-secondary institutions. Any student who is considering taking college classes during the 2014-15 school year must attend with a parent. An advisor from Wright State Lake Campus will be present to help answer any questions.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS.....Attend the 5th session, sponsored by Celina Mercer County Chamber & Rotary Club, which will take place on TODAY, JANUARY 14TH during I.E./Advisory. This session will be given by our Superintendent, Mr. Steiner and it will focus on "Appearance Really Does Matter." The more sessions you attend, the greater chance of winning a FLAT SCREEN TV!!

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO DONATED ITEMS TO THE FOOD AND CLOTHING PANTRY DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2013. Your donation helped serve 902 families involving 2,475 individuals during the month in need of food and personal care items. The Clothing Pantry served 222 families involving 722 individuals with 1,506 articles of clothing during the month of November. Your donations are always appreciated!! :)

The AAA Traffic Safety Poster Program is asking all students to GET CREATIVE and design a poster cautioning teens to avoid the many dangers facing teen drivers today. Prizes may include an invitation to a special recognition ceremony and/or money. Entries must be received on or before February 11, 2014. See Kassie for additional details.

FRIDAY IS AN FTA DONUT DAY!!

The junior class needs workers for the concession stand for the boys' basketball game on Friday, January 17th and Saturday, January 18th. Sign up TODAY in Mr. Higgins' room, room 201. All popcorn workers need to be at the Fieldhouse at 4:30 and all other workers need to be there at 5:30.

WINTER Parent/Teacher Conferences are TOMORROW, January 15th from 4:30 - 7:00 p.m. Call the office at 419-586-8300 ext. 1500 or 1501 to schedule a conference.

The lunch menu for WEDNESDAY is popcorn chicken, broccoli with cheese, oatmeal bar, fruit and milk.

SPORTS/ATHLETICS
TRACK ATHLETES (or athletes from any sport) are invited to attend speed training/running drill sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions are after school in the HS lobby. For those who have early release, sessions are in the CAPT building at 1:35.

THE DEADLINE IS QUICKLY APPROACHING.....ALL SENIORS need to turn in their baby pictures and senior pictures for this year's upcoming yearbook IMMEDIATELY! The Scholastic Team is selling hot chocolate every morning before school in the Commons area.  Cost is $1.00.  You add all the marshmallows or whipped cream you want.  Buy one for yourself or a friend.
