STUDENT INFORMATION

     **Tonight's game is "pink out", so if you still want a pink bulldog strong t-shirt, Dawg Town will be here today during lunch and selling them for $10.

     **If you were not able to attend yesterday's FTA meeting, drop off your $2 dues to room 301.

     **Picture retakes will be Wednesday, Oct. 17th.  The forms are in the office.

     **Just a reminder to anyone who sold Little Caesar's pizzas for Spirit Squad:  your items will be ready for pick up between 4:30 and 6:30 on Monday at the High School.  Please plan to pick up your items then as we have nowhere to keep them frozen.  Thank you!

     **All students who have ordered a 2011-2012 ANILEC, please pick up your yearbook this week in the Media Center.  The media specialists will be available 30 minutes before and after school AND during lunch and advisory.  An additional ANILEC costs $60.

     **Lunch for Monday is asian chicken, rice, mixed veggies, fruit, and milk OR corndog.

Girls basketball players not in a fall sport will have workouts next Tuesday and Thursday at the Fieldhouse after school.

Any girl basketball player that signed up for the Celina Fall League, please stop by Coach Hainline's room to get a schedule for this weekend.

JV Girls Golfers:  please put your "cleaned out" golf bags in the coaches' office by tomorrow (Friday).  Also, any golfer that owes coach Hainline money for their uniform, please get it to her by Friday.

     **Spirit squad is in need of workers for Friday's game.  See Miss Sneddon ASAP if you are interested.  Also, don't forget the theme for Friday is Breast Cancer Awareness so be sure to wear your pink!  Dawg Town still has T-shirts available for purchase with all funds going to the Cancer Society.  Be sure to follow the Spirit Squad on twitter for your chance to win Friday's trivia question!  If you don't know what we're talking about see Camille Smith, last week's winner of a $10 gift card to C-Town wings!

     **Today is your last chance to post a "week in 3 words".  See Kassie for a camera during lunch or advisory.

    **Young Democrats meeting is TODAY in room 304, after the announcements.  A short "Mock Trial" meeting will also be TODAY after school.

     **All students who have ordered a 2011-2012 ANILEC, please pick up your yearbook this week in the Media Center.  The media specialists will be available 30 minutes before and after school AND during lunch and advisory.  An additional ANILEC costs $60.

     **FTA meeting TODAY after announcements in the Lecture Hall.  Bring your $2.00 dues, or pay to Mr. Ellinger in room 301 by tomorrow.  You will receive a pass back to your advisory after the FTA meeting.

     **FYI...The Vehicle Maintenance Inspection event on Sept. 13th was a great success.  AAA was able to inspect a total of 53 cars.  Unfortunately the failure results were rather high, with over 60% of tires having some sort of fault.  This is the highest percentage AAA has seen this year.  If you have time, come see the "inspection results" graph posted on the window in the lobby.  It outlines the importance of your vehicle and safety.

     **Friday Lunch:  Mexican bar, nachos supreme, burrito, taco, fruit, and milk OR a cheeseburger sandwich.

     **Driving a motor vehicle is about responsibility, awareness, and safety.  As teenagers we are constantly looking for respect, and wanting people to trust us.  Well you want people to trust you?  Go the speed limit.  Wear your safety belt.  Don't drive drunk.  You are in Control.  Be more aware of whose lives are in your hands - literally, when you are in control of the car.  You've seen the banner and posters around school.  Make the choice today.  It's about safety, awareness and responsibility.  You are in Control.

STUDENT INFORMATION
     **We are very excited about "Week in 3 Words", but we need your help.  We will have an office worker available during lunch.  We will be filming on Monday during "A" lunch, Tuesday during "B" lunch and Wednesday during "C" lunch.  Hopefully this will make it easier to get your thoughts on paper and the camera ready to roll.  REMEMBER, a camera is also available in the office at your convenience as well.

     **Do you like to argue?  Are you interested in debate:  Or maybe you've even thought about becoming lawyer...if so, come to the first of many Mock Trial meetings this Tuesday after school.  The meeting is in room 304 (Mr. Sell's room), and all are welcome.  This year's case is a GREAT one!  See Mr. Sell or Mr. Gudorf for more information.

  • There will be a new group called Celina High School students for Life.  We will be discussing the truth about abortion as well as hosting debates among other activities.  Our first meeting is TODAY at 2:30 pm in Mr. Andrew's room by the media center.
  • The theme for this week's football game is JERSEYS.  If you would like to borrow an unused jersey from the football team, Mr. Rolfes has generously allowed us to rent them out.  If you are interested, stop by Mrs. Blacks's room during advisory.  These jerseys need to be returned on Monday!
  • Also, don't forget to be at the Party at the Rock at THREE TODAY!  See you there!

Yesterday, Celina boys finished 4th place in their ten-team WBL tournament.  ALEX RAY received WBL First Team honors and CALEB KUHN received honorable mention.  Celina girls golf finished 3rd at the Willow Bend Invitational in Van Wert.  Congratulations to both teams for their strong tournament performances.

  ring.  TODAY from 2:20 – 5:30, the Graduation
 Representative will be located in the main entrance. 
 The senior class meeting for Graduation is
 postponed to next Tuesday, Sept. 25th.

202  after school on Wed. Sept. 19th.
